Adding Categories to your Standard Operating Procedures is a very useful way of keeping all your data organised. You can decide how you wish to organise your SOPs, whether it is by Department, or by File Type. Having all your SOPs organised in one place, facilitates cross-departmental communication, and collaboration and ultimately promotes efficient real-time feedback.
To access your Settings:
- Open the traCXio website, and log in using your credentials.
- On the top-right of your screen, Click on the bubble with your initials.
- From the drop-down menu, Select Settings.
- You now have access to all the features of the Settings page.
Create an SOP Category and Sub-Categories
- On the Settings page, select SOP Categories from the left-hand menu.
- On the top right-hand corner, Select Add Category.
- A new window will appear. Enter the name of your Category.
- To add a sub-category, Select the Add Sub-Categories button.

- A grey box will appear. Type the name of the sub-category.
- Select the green tick on the right side of the box.
- To delete a sub-category, Select the red bin on the right side of the box.

- To save and finalise your changes, click on the Save button at the bottom right of the screen.

- To cancel your actions, click on the Cancel button.
- To cancel your actions, click on the Cancel button.

- Your action is successful when the Status Bar will be green and read SOP Categories Added Successfully.
Add a Sub-Category to an existing Category
- On the Settings page, select SOP Categories from the left-hand menu.
- Identify which Category you wish to Edit.
- From the Action column, on the right side of the screen, select the Pencil Icon.
- A new window will appear. Select the Add Sub-Categories button.
- A grey box will appear. Type the name of the sub-category.
- Select the green tick on the right side of the box.
- To delete the sub-category, Select the red bin on the right side of the box.
- To save and finalise your changes, click on the Save button at the bottom right of the screen.

- To cancel your actions, click on the Cancel button.

- Your action is successful when the Status Bar is green and reads SOP Categories Added Successfully.
Edit the name of an SOP Category and Sub-Categories
- On the Settings page, select SOP Categories from the left-hand menu.
- You can narrow down your search by researching a particular Category in the Search Bar on the top right-hand corner of the page.
- To Edit a Category, identify the one you wish to edit:

- From the Action column, on the right side of the screen, select the Pencil Icon.
- Edit the name of the category in the first grey box.
- To save your changes, click on the Save button at the bottom right of the window.
- To cancel your actions, click on the Cancel button.

- To Edit Sub-Category:

- Identify to which Category the Sub-Category belongs.
- From the Action column, on the right side of the screen, Select the Downward Facing Arrow.
- Select the Pencil Icon on the Sub-Category you wish to Edit.
- Edit the name of the sub-category in the grey box.
- To save your changes, click on the Edit button at the bottom right of the window.
- To cancel, click on the X on the top right of the window.
- Your action is successful when the Status Bar is green and read SOP Sub-Category Edited Successfully.
