Settings - Security (Administrator)

Learning Outcome

After completing this unit, you will be able to:

2. Enable 2-Factor Authentication
3. Disable 2-Factor Authentication

To access your Settings:

1. Open the traCXio website, and log in using your credentials.
2. On the top-right of your screen, Click on the bubble with your initials.
3. From the drop-down menu, Select Settings.
4. You now have access to all the features of the Settings page.

Enable 2-Factor Authentication

1. On the Settings page, select Security from the left-hand menu.
2. To Enable 2 Factor Authenticator, Identify and Click on the Switch Button on the top right of the screen.
3. You must download one of the Authenticator Apps:
   
   
   • • Microsoft Authenticator (Available on App Store and Google Store) https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/security/mobile-authenticator-app
     • Google Authenticator (Available on the App Store and Google Store)
       
       

4. From the App, Select the Scan QR Code option from the front-page menu.

   • • You will be directed to a page on the app with a 6-digit Authentication Code.
       Note: A New Code will be generated every 30 seconds, making the previous code redundant.

5. Back on the 2 Factor Authentication page, Enter the 6-digit Authentication Code in the 6 grey boxes.

6. Click on Verify at the bottom of the screen.

7. Your action is successful when the Status Bar is green and read Multi-Factor Authentication has been enabled successfully.

    

Disable 2-Factor Authentication

1. On the Settings page, select Security from the left-hand menu.
2. To Disable 2 Factor Authenticator, Identify and Click on the Switch Button on the top right of the screen.
3. Your action is successful when the Status Bar is green and reads Multi-Factor Authentication has been Disabled successfully.
