Learning Outcome
After completing this unit, you will be able to:
- Make a Service Blueprint Inactive
- Understand the limitations of an Inactive Status
- Understand why a SBP needs to be Inactive
Making a Service Blueprint (SBP) inactive, participates in the idea that a SBP is a constantly evolving, optimizable and ever-improving fluid document. Creating multiple versions of a SBP is encouraged, to improve it. Therefore, making a SBP inactive ensures that the most recent and accurate version of your SBP is the one that is viewable in Tasks.
- In the traCXio app, select Service Blueprints on the top horizontal menu.
- Select the SBP that needs its Status to be changed.
- On the top right-hand side horizontal menu, Click on SBP Version … (1,2,3…).
- From the drop-down menu, Select Manage All and locate the SBP with the Inactive status.
Note: The inactive/published statuses are located on the far right of each Version and read as such: Published and Inactive. - There are two ways of changing the Status of a SBP Version:
-
- To make a Published Version Inactive, below the Version, Select Inactive.
- To make an Inactive version Published, below the Version, Select Publish.
-
- Your action is successful when you are sent back to the SBP page.
- To ensure your action has been successful, return to the top right horizontal menu SBP Version … (1,2 or 3) and check which version has the Published Status, and which version has the Inactive Status.
