Learning Outcomes
After completing this unit, you will be able to:
- Move a single Action Box around the Canvas
- Select multiple Action Boxes and move them about the Canvas
To move a single Action Box
- Hover the cursor over the desired Action Box.
- Click and hold the cursor.
- Drag the selected Action Box to any point on the Canvas.
- Release to cursor to leave the Action Box in the desired location.
- As you drag the Action Box, you will notice that Paths and Path Labels stay connected to the Action Box.
To move multiple Action Boxes around the Canvas
- Identify the Action Boxes that you want to move.
- Hover your cursor over a point on the Canvas immediately adjacent to the first Action Box that you want to move.
- Press and hold the Shift Button on your keyboard.
- While keeping the Shift button down, drag your cursor to highlight all the Action Boxes that you want to move.
Note: Only Action Boxes that are fully highlighted will be moved. - Release the Shift button on your keyboard.
- You will notice that the selected area remains highlighted. Any Action Box that is fully within the highlighted area can now be moved.
- The highlighted Action Boxes, as they are moved around the Canvas, will keep the same shape.
Note: As multiple Action Boxes are moved, Path and Path Labels remain connected to the Action Boxes that are outside of the selected area. - Once you have moved the selected Action Boxes to the desired location, click your cursor on any part of the canvas to end this process.
